SkillsIQ, under the direction of the Technicians Support Services Industry Reference Committee (IRC), is seeking Expressions of Interest for membership of an Anaesthetic Technology Technical Advisory Committee (TAC). 

The objective of the TAC will be to provide technical expert knowledge to address identified workforce skills gaps in the Training Package Products available to Anaesthetic Technicians through the update of the following Qualification and associated Units of Competency:

• HLT57915 Diploma of Anaesthetic Technology.

Open Now – Cast Technology Technical Advisory Committee – Expressions of Interest

SkillsIQ, under the direction of the Technicians Support Services Industry Reference Committee (IRC), is seeking Expressions of Interest for membership of a Cast Technology Technical Advisory Committee (TAC). 

The objective of the TAC will be to provide technical expert knowledge to develop new Units of Competency and a Qualification in Cast Technology to address key issues relating to:

• The development of a nationally recognised Qualification for Cast Technicians, and
• The provision of skilled Cast Technicians with the appropriate knowledge and skills to cater to patients visiting hospitals and outpatient services.

Open Now – Clinical Coding Technical Advisory Committee – Expressions of Interest

SkillsIQ, under the direction of the Technicians Support Services Industry Reference Committee (IRC), is seeking Expressions of Interest for membership of a Clinical Coding Technical Advisory Committee (TAC). 

Following on from the work of the previous Clinical Coding TAC, who led the development of the Case for Change for this project, the objective of this TAC will be to provide technical expert knowledge to develop detailed Units of Competency to be included in a new Qualification in Clinical Coding that will ensure:

• Clinical coders have access to appropriate skills and knowledge, in order to meet the current and future needs of the Australian health care system, and that
• The proposed new Qualification will provide technical, analytical, decision-making and health knowledge skills upon which to facilitate articulation, including progression to further study and to gain qualifications in Health Information Management.

Open Now – Hospital/Health Services Pharmacy Support Technical Advisory Committee – Expressions of Interest

SkillsIQ, under the direction of the Technicians Support Services Industry Reference Committee (IRC), is seeking Expressions of Interest for membership of a Hospital/Health Services Pharmacy Support Technical Advisory Committee (TAC). 

Following on from the work of the previous Hospital/Health Services Pharmacy Support TAC, who led the development of the Case for Change for this project, the objective of this TAC will be to provide technical expert knowledge to develop detailed Units of Competency that will be made available to Hospital Pharmacy Assistants and Technicians through the following Qualifications (also to be updated during this project):

• HLT37119 Certificate III in Hospital/Health Services Pharmacy Support
• HLT47119 Certificate IV in Hospital/Health Services Pharmacy Support.
