ACCREDITATION AND REGISTRATION

In Western Australia the Training Accreditation Council (TAC) is responsible for the registration of training organisations (RTO's), the accreditation of courses and the recognition of skills qualifications.

Only RTO's can deliver nationally recognised courses and qualifications and apply for State and Commonwealth funding.

Further information on how to become a RTO, Auditing or for updated information for current RTO's visit the TAC website.

The Role of the Community Services, Health & Education Training Council

The CSH&E Training Council may be consulted regarding the "Scope" of an organisation's training prior to submissions being made for registration to the TAC. "Scope" is based upon the range of competencies and qualifications a RTO wishes to deliver and assess.

The CSH&E Training Council can also provide information from the National Training Packages which will assist in the development and accreditation of training. The Training Packages include competency standards, qualification frameworks and assessment guidelines.
